This is book 3 in a series that continues to be GREAT! If you havent read the first two books I would start with them and read up to this one but this book is good enough to be a stand alone. The first book in the series is my personal favorite but all the others are equally good.

 
I love this author because each book in the series follows the life of a seperate vampire (whose characters are completely different) while at the same time continuing an interesting back story. Every book is fresh and the storylines are not just cut and paste copies of each other, they are actually original… which is rare in this type of fiction. Overall, these books are a joy to read and this one didnt disappoint. My advice is try them out!!!
