Out of all Katie MacAlister’s books I have to confess this one wasn’t that great. The storyline although original was a little generic for me and although I loved Portia Harding’s continued skepticism it became sort-of annoying. I kept thinking ‘ok how much more does this woman have to see… to believe what is happening to her?’ The one erotic scene was pretty good and I love all of MacAlister’s other Dark One books but this one was a flop
