This is not the first Argeneau Vampire novel that I’ve read, even though it is the first in the series. They are great stand alone books and even though I liked this one it was a little bit corney. The series is getting a little ‘darker’ as they go along and better I think, even though all Lynsay Sands novels have that light funny quality. My advice, if you want to get into these books skip this one and start with ‘Bite Me If You Can’. All the other couples from the other novels are in that book and you can get an idea from their synopsis if you want to read the others.
